Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is currently hiring a Finance Improvement Focal The role can be based out of Gosport or Bristol, UK and will be supporting teams within wider Finance business unit.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate as the key focal within the BDUK finance team for driving improvement initiatives across the function
• Interface with the Financial Analysis CoE and broader finance leads to identify key areas of focus for improvement activity
• Liaise with BDUK Finance systems integrator to glean developmental changes to the BDUK SAP system
• Interface with broader BGS Finance Transformation leads/focals to embrace improvement initiatives being implemented across the wider Boeing enterprise and coordinate BDUK implementation plans
• Act as a champion for change across the functional team
• Support to wider functional initiatives as appropriate

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Proficient on Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint to add analytics and broader team communications.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):                      

• 3+ years post graduate work as part of a finance/business operations team
• Experience working as part of a high performing team supporting multiple stakeholders/business partner contacts
• Be familiar with Lean methodologies and an advocate for change
• Strong communication skills and somebody capable of bridging functional boundaries

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
