The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a SCM Project Administrator to join our Supply Chain Excellence team within the Supply Chain Management capability. The role will support a multidisciplinary team and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver analysis, reporting, administrative and coordination activities. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Governance and Industry and work closely with the stream leads in both the SCM Operational Excellence and also the SCM Strategy and Industry stream. The successful candidate responsibilities are to:
- Provide support across the Strategy and Industry Stream and the Operational Excellence Stream, and working in collaboration with the Stream Leads to manage responsibilities.
- Collect, organize and analyse data and information in order to summarise findings and develop recommendations to meet the business requirements. This will include using multiple tools, systems and datasets (such as JOSCAR) and work across multiple business areas.
- Support the team to meet BDA's Australian Industry Capability (AIC) Program responsibilities, including financial reporting in accordance with Department of Defence and contract requirements.
- Provide support to BDA's Capability Uplift Program, including administration and coordination of activities, events and stakeholder engagements.
- Conduct governance and compliance activities of data integrity, reporting compliance and monitoring risks, including identifying possible solutions.
- Support a range of activities as part of our supplier intelligence reporting, including engaging BDA's current and potential suppliers, including onboarding and answering queries.
- Adhere to BDA's policies and procedures, relevant legislation, Government policies and guidance and contract requirements as relevant.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience, proficiency or skills in:
- Data interpretation, financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Use of business tools and systems (proficiency in Oracle ERP is desirable).
- Clear verbal and non-verbal communication (business sector experience is desirable).
- Manage multiple tasks to completion and tight timeframes.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to identify risks, issues and opportunities.
- Ability to work in a team and build collaborative and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A self-driven and organised individual who works independently to manage multiple responsibilities, consistently meeting deadlines and possess a curious attitude.
- An understanding and/or comprehension of legislation, complex contracts, financial data and Australian Government policies; or demonstrated ability to learn.
- Tertiary education in commerce, business, supply chain management or similar is beneficial.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance at Baseline.
