The opportunity

We are seeking a knowledgeable Contracts Specialist to join our Contracts team. Our ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, drafting experience and a solid grasp of contract management/risks.
The role
Working alongside the project and commercial teams, you will provide comprehensive contract management to support programs delivering technology and services to our customers. You will deliver contractual outcomes and manage risk by drafting correspondence, negotiating variations and maintaining strong relationships with national and global stakeholders.

About you
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of contract management principles and focus on executable commercial outcomes.
- Experience with commercial contracts and/or complex supplier agreements is required. Experience working with the Australian Standard Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON) suite of templates or managing technical or engineering services contracts within a project environment preferred.
- Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Business/Commerce) from a recognised institution highly desirable.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
