Supply Chain Analyst 3 (remote option available) - contract

Insitu’s Supplier Management and Procurement organization is seeking a positive and proactive Supply Chain Analyst 3 to help improve our supply chain and enhance our internal processes/procedures to achieve better efficiency and performance overall.  Key roles and activities include:

• Ensure consistent visibility in the areas of supply chain capacity, affordability, quality/reliability, and availability  
• Work with Procurement Agents and other Supply Chain Analysists to develop supply chain strategies and supplier networks for various products and services
• Evaluate supplier performance and compliance to Insitu contracts, FAR, AS9100, and other standards, and identify/remediate risk areas
• Monitor industry trends in demand, availability, lead times and optimize supply chain planning
• Represent Supplier Management and Procurement Organization in company-wide program reviews, customer audits, or other similar assigned projects
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters, coordinating meetings and events, as necessary
• Support Insitu’s Supplier Development Program.  This includes conducting and reviewing market research, key performance indicators, capacity planning, statements of work, risk mitigation plans, supplier capabilities, lead time management, cost management, pricing trends, supplier surveys, and overall supplier business assessments
• Act as a subject matter expert and conduct internal training on relevant supply chain compliance topics, as necessary
• Evaluate terms, conditions, and flow down clauses to determine compliance
• Assist Procurement Agents and other Supply Chain Analysts with negotiation strategies

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills

• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting
• Knowledge of AS9100 standard and aerospace industry practices preferred
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data from appropriate sources; summarize findings; and develop conclusions and recommendations
• Able to identify and understands big picture issues, problems, and opportunities
• Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize own activities regularly
• Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media in individual or group settings
• Knowledge of relevant government agencies and processes
• Knowledge of current issues (e.g., supply chain, governmental, international) impacting functional responsibilities
• Ability to analyze broad range supplier information such as financial data, market position, management capabilities, and risk analysis
• Ability to manage and deliver project deliverables, project accounting and appraisal, and optimize the contribution of the people involved using project management tools
• Takes a proactive approach to collecting information, following up with individuals, and ensuring projects/tasks are completed on schedule and accurately
• Ability to negotiate pricing, delivery, contract terms and conditions, and other agreements with suppliers is preferred

Education/Experience

• 6-9 years with Bachelor's degree, or 4-7 years with Master's degree
