The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Information Technology Product Owner to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
This is an exciting position supporting the F-22 Program, based in St Louis, MO, as the Product Owner. Our Information Technology (IT) professionals directly support Boeing and external customers in delivering and developing this weapon platform. As the Senior Product Owner, you are responsible for ensuring we capture, prioritize, and execute on the product backlog utilizing the Agile Production System methods we developed.
The Technical Product Owner will lead a group of IT Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) utilizing Agile methodology and deep technical knowledge. This person will create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, create actionable user stories, participate in daily scrum meetings, answer technical questions, work to remove impediments, accept the finished user stories, participate in iteration retrospectives, all while ensuring the DoD (Definition of Done) is followed.
The Senior Product Owner develops and manages multiple, complex information technology (IT) projects and deliverables, provides input to determine complex project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle. You will also monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Understands complex technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches and processes
Provides subject matter expertise for complex issues
Maintains the team backlog, iteration planning and story collaboration
Applies behavior-driven development, accept stories and drive decisions
Evaluates and effectively communicates complex system problems and resolution
Leads the handling of service requests from the user community
Leads architecture design studies for technology implementation
Leads on-site, in-person hardware installation, cabling, and configuration
Leads and presence with your IT team and the Product Managers you interact with
Creates Microsoft Windows baseline images
Conducts Information Assurance scans and remediation
Sets up Electronic Classroom infrastructure
Installs and configures VMWare and storage
Updates Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
5+ years of experience leading or performing the activities of complex IT programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with IT Infrastructure supporting desktop, server, storage or network hardware and software component
Experience working with COTS Integration in a Linux or Windows environment
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $123,250 - $166,750
