The Kill Chains Analysis team in Sensors and Special Programs (S&SP) is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager (Level L) to lead capability development and operational analysis for interoperability across multiple weapon systems. This role will lead a core team of ~15 senior engineers and coordinate a broader portfolio spanning multiple programs, customers, and agile release trains.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering team, to deliver cross-program design, prototyping, and operational analysis.
Support program execution across the portfolio: scope, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and earned value/variance analysis.
Drive interoperability strategy and technical commonality across platform implementations and suppliers.
Coordinate statement-of-work decomposition across multiple SAFe agile release trains and lead process and staffing improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, stakeholders, program management, and senior leadership; prepare and deliver executive briefings.
Approve technical approaches, provide systems-of-systems oversight, and solve complex integration and troubleshooting challenges.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires an active U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Proven experience leading engineering programs and teams across all program phases (planning through execution): 1+ years of Management Experience
Demonstrated systems-of-systems knowledge, particularly with networked airborne mission systems and tactical networks.
Strong communicator and self-starter with experience briefing senior executives and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with SAFe agile methodologies and experience applying agile practices at program scale.
Experience using Earned Value Management (EVMS) and performing variance analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Program management experience including cost, schedule, and budget development and control.
Experience creating and maintaining team schedules and leading risk management activities.
Background in system integration, product investigations, and engineering troubleshooting.

Summary pay range: $170,000 - $230,000
