The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Radio and Network Technologist to join our radio and telemetry team in Berkeley, MO. The radio and telemetry team provide vital air-to-ground links that enable a successful flight test. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining Boeing Flight Test’s radio network. Specific tasks will include:
- Researching, implementing, and testing novel networks and architecture
- Adapting new networks to interface with internal customer equipment
- Configuring ground stations, networks, and antennas to support voice and data transmission capabilities
- Maintaining existing radio networks and associated playback capabilities
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level Radio and Network Technologists.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in research and development (R&D) and deployment of advanced radio network technologies
- Assist in evaluating emerging technology trends and products
- Enable flight test activities through the use of radio and networking systems
- Set the configuration of test networks for testing
- Maintain radio architecture
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience working with RF Communication systems
- 1+ years of experience with fundamental radio design and operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. Secret security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- Experience with hands-on support of radio and/or network hardware such as setting up, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting radios, dispatch stations, switches, routers, and network equipment
- Experience supporting product testing either in the flight or lab test environment
- Experience with aircraft communications systems
- Experience with amateur radio
- Experience with flight line operations and ground operations procedures associated with flight testing

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate level: $85,000 – $115,000
Summary pay range for experienced level: $105,400 - $142,600
