The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Test & Evaluation Flight Simulation Lab Technician to join the Flight Simulation Labs located in Berkeley, MO.
This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team, and the applicant will be working in a fast-paced environment supporting Flight Simulation hardware requiring technical skills in both electronic hardware development and trouble shooting. In this role you will be supporting repairs and modifications to Boeing manufactured Lab equipment and Simulators.
Position Responsibilities:
- Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
- Design, fabricate, build and analyze test systems, materials, components, and methodologies
- Conduct system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown
- Conduct tests, analyze data and documents results; participate in test readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
- Coordinate test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
- Work under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ year of work related experience with an Associate’s or related work experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related experience
- Experience working with electronics, mechanical systems in design fabrication or test troubleshooting
