Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance is seeking an Experienced Quality Engineer to join the Phantom Works Quality team located in Berkeley, MO.

Ability to obtain Boeing proprietary program access is mandatory for this position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Collaborates with other functions including SEIT, Production and Design.
- Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
- Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Develops and implements corrective actions.
- Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
- Works under minimal direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Pre Start and final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other technical degree
5+ years of Quality experience
5+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
Experience working/partnering with engineers, product owners, and leadership
Experience working with SEIT teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
More than 3 years of experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution, processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
Experience leading and executing Advance Product Quality Planning Activities (APQP)
Experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
Experience with Early Quality Involvement (EQI)
Experience in Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP)
Experience with Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)

Summary pay range:
Level 3: $95,200 - $128,800
Level 4: $117,300 - $158,700
