Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join the DA&DI (Data Analytics & Digital Integration) team to develop and maintain software product for the next generation.
In this position the candidate is expected to be hands-on full stack development with excellent programming skills in the latest tools & technologies like React JS, Vue JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Node JS, Java/J2EE, microservices, APIs. Experience in automated test environments/TDD/JUNITS is required. This position can be located at any major Boeing site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.
- Contributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR.
- Works with the Product manager and owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.
- Raise any impediments/risks they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution.
- Update the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks on a daily basis
- Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated.
- Ability to independently execute & deliver on the backlog without dependency or hand-holding.
- Delivers working software in accordance with expected quality standards.
- Designs for testability: Design and evolve the system to support testability and test automation.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Must have experience with Spring Framework, REST, JPA/Hibernate.
- Ability to understand API specifications
- Experience in developing services (sync and async) using Microservices Architecture and Design patterns
- Experience in automated test (Mock, Mockito etc.).
- Experience in working in SQL Databases with ability to model and ability to write Stored Procedures - Postgres or MySQL or any other relational databases.
- Front End web development experience in React JS
- Should have demonstrated ability to work in AGILE environment.
- Excellent programming skills in the latest tools & technology frameworks like, Java/J2EE, NodeJS (Nice to have), React JS, HTML 5, CSS 3 JavaScript etc.
Desired Skills (Preferred qualifications):
- Experience in GCP/Azure/AWS
- Domain experience in Aerospace/Navigation Solutions/Geo Spatial technologies
- Knowledge/experience in SAFe agile; pair programming etc
- Knowledge on Android / iOS app development

Summary Pay Range: $127,500 - $172,50
