The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Estimating and Pricing team has an opening for an Associate Production Operations Estimating and Pricing Specialist in Berkley, MO or Hazelwood, MO (Saint Louis area).
This position allows Estimators to support multiple programs, sites and customers, gaining broader experience and visibility. This position works with BDS programs including F-15, F/A-18, Chinook, MQ-25, KC-135, B-52 and more, developing labor estimates from technical requirements to support non-recurring and recurring production, assembly and fabrication. Using Estimating best practices, policies and procedures, this person will employ multiple techniques to analyze and develop compliant estimates, assess risks and opportunities, price, and develop cost volumes. The position requires data mining and analysis combined with regular interaction with Engineering, Operations, other Finance functions, prime organizations, Program Management, and Senior Finance leadership to derive accurate, compliant estimates.
Position Responsibilities:
Evaluates requests for proposals, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Develops estimates from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program
Performs analysis and provides recommendations (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
Evaluates and develops business cases
Develops and maintains estimating factors and models
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
1+ years of experience in business analytics
1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience years of experience in estimating techniques or labor time standard development
Understanding of contractual agreements (FAR/TINA)
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $66,300 – $89,700
