BIETC is currently looking for Experienced Programmer Analyst - C++ to join their team in Bengaluru location. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and BR&T business organization.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the BR&T US Technical Lead to understand the requirements and work as an individual contributor to develop software solutions for a multi-year automation research project involving robotic systems. The candidate will work on all aspects the software from User interface of an engineering application to highly distributed backend systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Good programming knowledge with C/C++, C#, CLI, knowledge on .NET
- Ability to do literature reviews to gather and analyze relevant information.
- Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to change.
- Modify, improve or implement new functionality and be tasked with keeping activities on track for timely delivery.
- Working experience with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations.
- Experience with cross-platform software design and development.
- Experience writing and developing software requirements with little or to no existing requirements
- Development of documentation.
- The engineer should have excellent communication skills to work across Boeing Global Engineering teams
- The Engineer should have desire to work in all aspects of the product life cycle development process.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Awareness of Agile and DevOps Software development practices. (JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Docker)
- Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand large C++ code bases.
- Experience with scripting languages for prototyping. Preferably Python.
- Experience with Software Architecture, Design Patterns, Data structures and Standard Template Libraries (C++ 14 and above)
- Good experience of Software Development and Testing
- Strong understanding of system and software architectures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 5+ year of software development experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV
- Experience with 3D visualization libraries like OpenGL or Magnum.
- Experience with Linux OS, preferably Ubuntu.
- Experience with distributed-computing techniques and multi-threading practices.
- Experience with Agile methodology and repositories, such as JIRA and Git
- Experience with Azure, Jenkins
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, QuestDB
Typical Education & Experience:
- Typically, 8-12 years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
