About Position / Position Summary
Boeing’s Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) team is currently looking for an Associate Programmer Analyst to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. Programmer Analysts at Boeing make sure that the fleet at the world’s largest aerospace company continues to meet the reliability and safety by contributing towards the development and maintenance of in-house software and programs essential for the smooth functioning of the organization.
This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.
Position Responsibilities:
As a programmer analyst, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and provides solutions for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) requirements
Collaborates within team and cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand requirements, vet processes, and design solutions to meet integration requirements
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Develops and maintains partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
Exercises adaptability in responding to emergent work and changing priorities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Good experience in object-oriented programming
Experience in a technical, development-focused role utilizing XPath, Java or other object-oriented language, Mendix, project studio and Oracle SQL programming language
Working knowledge in Java 17, Spring boot, Spring data JPA and Spring Security
Good understanding of Relational databases and working experience in SQL/Oracle Server, Oracle development environment
Experience in Test Driven Development
Experience in ALM tools (GitLab, ADO, SonarQube)
Strong experience of working with Agile (Scrum) and thorough knowledge of DevOps
Complete knowledge of the concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout
Must have excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to work with diverse teams, meetings and stakeholders’ meetings
Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
Experience supporting the Siemens Opcenter and/or Teamcenter product Supply Chain domain knowledge, DevOps, Continuous Integration
Experience with Supply Chain Management and MRO, Depot and Remanufacture processes
Experience with GOLD, Project Studio, XPath and SQL Plus/TOAD
Capability of reacting quickly and directly to complete the task at hand and instead of waiting to be instructed to complete job activities
Willingness to seek out additional assignments or tasks
Capability to gather, examine, and interpret information from different sources to generate effective solutions to problems
Ability to generate alternate approaches to solving problems when needed
Awareness of the likely consequences or implications of judgments.
Ability to interface with programmers, systems analysts, and users to confirm inter-application operational effectiveness
Experience generating and implementing new and useful ideas
Ability to think ‘outside the box'
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. B.E/B Tech./MCA) and typically 5+ years of related work experience or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of related work experience.
