The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Global Trade Controls Compliance team in Arlington, VA; Seattle, WA; or Hazelwood, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, reporting trends, and creating/implementing dashboards, automation solutions and other process improvement tools/trackers as applicable in support of trade compliance activities.
Global Trade Controls (GTC) has overall functional responsibility for company-wide import and export activities. This includes developing enterprise-wide procedures and process instructions, training and education related to import and export requirements, executing import and export transactions, reviewing and sharing trade compliance data/trends to manage and mitigate compliance risk, and monitoring for compliance to relevant U.S. and non-U.S. regulations. Additionally, GTC personnel interface with regulatory agencies on behalf of Boeing and provides company and industry leadership on trade control strategy.
Position Responsibilities:
Use analytical skills and strategic enterprise knowledge to synthesize and provide meaningful business intelligence, and draw conclusions based on data, KRIs, metrics and trends from multiple data sources to influence business strategy and performance
Develop effective visualizations, dashboards, metrics reporting and narrative-based summary reports for internal stakeholders at different levels (executives, managers, peers), asking the right questions to understand requirement details and ensure accurate reporting, while leveraging current data sources and mining for new sources
Interpret the global trade controls landscape through data integration and analysis, creating insightful trend analysis and recommendations, analyzing root cause, identifying risk and opportunity potential, developing mitigation plans, and refining business cases
Develop and maintain global trade controls compliance data processes to improve efficiency through the use of process methods and standards, tools and modeling, metric consultation and data analytics
Compile, create and refine timely, accurate, and complex data translating raw operational data into meaningful dashboards, metrics and reports
Work with multiple source systems, platforms and technologies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher
3+ years of experience in utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and linking worksheets
3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics tools and applications (such as IBM Cognos Analytics, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics)
3+ years of experience analyzing data and/or identifying functional and systems requirements
3+ years of data modeling and developing low-code solutions and automations (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience building intuitive and useful Tableau dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions
Experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics
Experience with programming languages for analytics such as SQL, R programming, Python, or Java
Experience utilizing data analytics to identify organizational/cultural risks and compliance systems that can effectively detect, prevent, and respond to compliance risks
Experience designing and building customs low-code apps (Power Apps) and automated workflows (Power Automate) for data collection, process streamlining, and reporting

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $144,500-$209,300
