Why This is an Exciting Role:

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is currently seeking an accomplished, growth and team-oriented executive to serve as Chief of Program Management in Annapolis Junction, MD. The position is part of the BI&A Executive Leadership Team and leads a $225M portfolio of programs with 500 BI&A employees plus subcontractor resources delivering mission-critical engineering, software, cloud, data, AI/ML, and cyber solutions to various Intelligence Community customers.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the position has accountability for program execution, financial performance, customer relationships, workforce development, strategy, and growth. The successful candidate will be a proven business and people leader who can deliver exceptional mission performance while positioning the organization for sustained growth.

• Lead the company’s program, strategic, operational, financial, and technical performance, ensuring exceptional execution and mission outcomes.
• Develop and execute a profitable growth strategy, partnering with the Strategy and Growth team to identify, shape, capture, and win new opportunities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with current and prospective customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders, anticipating evolving mission priorities and needs.
• Drive execution across a portfolio of programs, including effective delivery against technology roadmaps, contract commitments, and financial objectives.
• Build, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce and leadership team, developing technical and leadership talent to enable employee development and business growth.
• Partnering with the Engineering and Innovation team to champion innovation and technology insertion, leveraging capabilities across BI&A to advance customer missions and differentiate our solutions.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university

• 15+ years supporting the MPO Intelligence Community customer, with a deep understanding of customer missions, business processes, operational environments, and future needs.

   

Required Qualifications: ​

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
• Experience: 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including demonstrated success leading large, complex technical teams and organizations.
• Intelligence Community: 15+ years supporting the MPO Intelligence Community customer, with a deep understanding of customer missions, business processes, operational environments, and future needs.
• Experience as a Program Manager running large IC programs (>$100M)
• Experience making Staffing decisions for IC programs
• P&L responsibilities $100M
• Demonstrated experience leading a complex engineering, software, cyber, or technology organization, with accountability for workforce development, program performance, technical delivery, and customer relationships.
• Proven success developing and executing growth strategies, collaborating with business development and expanding business with existing customers and into adjacent markets.

• Strong track record of organizational and financial leadership, executive decision-making, customer engagement, and talent development, with the ability to build consensus, operate independently, motivate employees, and communicate effectively at all levels.

   

Desired Qualifications: ​

• Master's degree in an Engineering, Technology, Management, or Business discipline or a related field.

• Executive leadership experience supporting MPO

• Experience supporting multiple Intelligence Community agencies (MPO, DIA, NGA, etc.)

• Significant experience leading large-scale software development, mission engineering, or technology programs on classified networks.

• Experience managing a similar size division in large corporations or running a small business is highly applicable and desired

• PMP certification

Telework/Remote Availability:  Hybrid work authorized (minimum 3 days onsite)

Work Location(s):   Annapolis Junction, MD. Some travel required

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$250,000 - $275,000
