Project Scheduler

Boeing Defence Australia's Sustainment Operations Business is looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to join the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program Change Team. The Change team provides baseline management and project management services for the Sustainment Program.
This Project Management Scheduler position will be assisting Project Managers focused on delivering capability enhancements and technical configuration changes to the F/A-18F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, or associated weapons and stores. These projects may include business improvements, finance, contract, IT, facilities, earned value management, or organisational change that are being delivered to enhance sustainment or modernisation capabilities to support both platforms.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of the F/A-18F Super Hornet and/or EA-18G Growler missions and experience supporting multiple Project Managers in delivering project outcomes using standardised scheduling tools.
This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.
As a Project Scheduler you be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating with multiple Coordinating geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined teams for planning and execution of projects and work packages.
- Managing all phases of assigned projects to successful and timely completion.
- Identification and management of Risk, Issues and Opportunities including proactive escalation of "Help needed".
- Regularly monitoring, controlling and reporting on progress to program leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Negotiate project changes and incorporate changes into project control systems to maintain work statements, cost and schedule baselines.
- Transition projects into service, perform project close-out activities and document lessons learned.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Management Scheduling role.
- Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired however prior experience will be considered.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management scheduling (MSP, OPP)
- Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach other PM professionals.
This roll will suit someone who is a collaborative leader who will bring technical skills, effective communication and relationship building strengths to support our Sustainment Program. You will be someone who is comfortable working autonomously and as part of a wider community to seek and drive project outcomes and continuous improvement.
