Since 2014, Boeing Research & Technology Brazil (BR&T-B) achieved 35 patent application invention disclosures. Collaborating with local partners, BR&T-B made advancements in autonomy and autonomous airspace, fleet operations, next-generation metals, metals and composite recycling, aeroacoustics, biofuels, remote sensing, crowd behaviors and cabin comfort.
Boeing has invested $5.3 million in Brazilian communities since 2008 to enhance diversity, proficiency and interest in STEM careers (science, technology, education and mathematics). This includes our work with non-profits Educando and the Ayrton Senna Institute (IAS) which has benefitted more than 4 million students and educators in the country.
