An engineer's journey from Boeing Intern to Deputy Chief of Staff
Meet Shanth Singh, mechanical engineer and Deputy Chief of Staff for Chief Engineer Greg Hyslop.
As an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering, Shanth began a series of internships with Boeing in 2016, experiencing NASA's Space Launch System, the CH-47 Chinook, and various commercial airplane programs.
After graduating from Drexel University, he joined Boeing full-time in a rotational program offering early-career professionals exposure to the many opportunities available within the company.
Currently, Shanth is on a one-year assignment as Boeing chief engineer Greg Hyslop’s deputy chief of staff.
“There's very few companies that would allow you to test out different things, see what you like in terms of engineering, the product, the team, and location,” he says.
Watch the video above to learn more about Shanth’s career journey.
