The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Performance Specialist to join our dynamic Learning and Development (L&D) team in Everett, WA; Seattle, WA Auburn, WA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies with suppliers that provide learning and development services, build statements of work, coordinate commitments across internal and external stakeholders, and manage supplier performance.
A successful candidate will engage thoughtfully with internal and external stakeholders, including L&D team members and suppliers. They will have broad experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain supplier relationships and operate as the supplier performance specialist to ensure alignment between suppliers and stakeholders
- Leads stakeholder engagement and needs analysis to transform requirements into supplier statement of work (SOW) and maintain/update SOWs throughout the length of contract
- Guides sourcing projects through the procurement process to ensure timely completion and supports Indirect Supply Chain to leverage L&D’s sourcing strategy and support negotiations
- Manage financial and contractual administration including invoice and purchase requisition oversight, coordinate contract activities with Indirect Supply Chain and oversee supplier spend
- Drive supplier performance and quality through service level agreements, performance assessments, metrics management and quarterly business reviews to proactively resolve issues and maximize value
- Provide industry and sourcing insights, and supply chain and contract information to support stakeholder discussions and strategic decision making
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement and negotiations
- 5+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of experience developing sourcing strategies and statements of work
- 3+ years of experience collecting and interpreting data
- 3+ years of experience managing high level projects for senior and/or Executive Leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and suppliers with external partners
- Experience influencing without direct control and demonstrating developed decision-making capabilities including negotiation and collaboration skills
- Experience proactively solving problems to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in enterprise procurement technologies, e.g., SAP, SAP Ariba, similar ERP systems) to manage purchase requisitions, invoicing and contract management workflows
- Experience in corporate learning industry

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $102,000 - $147,200
