Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Engineering Technical Specialist (Level 2) to support the Flight Simulations Labs in Berkeley, MO.

This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team, and the applicant will be working in a fast-paced environment supporting Flight Simulation hardware requiring technical skills in both electronic hardware development and trouble shooting. In this role you will be supporting repairs and modifications to Boeing manufactured Lab equipment and Simulators

Position Responsibilities

• Maintains products, materials and processes to meet regulatory requirements and ensure consistent quality.

• Uses standard guidelines to stage material, verify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.

• Resolves discrepancies, defects and ensure issues are identified for resolution.  Creates and maintains tracking data and inputs information into engineering systems.

• Candidate must have strong people skills, self-motivated and excellent customer relation skills.

• Works well in a team environment

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 3+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 1+ years of related work experience with a Master’s or 7+ years of work related experience

• Experience with Material Management and Inventory Control

• Experience with inventory management systems or database applications

• Experience in shipping and receiving

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience with product management

• Experience with electronic parts and equipment

• Familiarity with Lab equipment Property Management requirements

Typical Education & Experience  

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $71,400 – $96,600
