Boeing’s Employee Referral Program
Boeing employees can earn a bonus by referring external hires.
As we seek the best talent for our teams, we encourage current teammates to continue reaching out to and engaging with their networks using our Employee Referral Program (ERP).
Teammates who refer external candidates that are successfully hired for an eligible U.S.-based position will receive a referral incentive of at least $1,500 (international requisitions will have market equivalents), with increased amounts available for certain targeted skills.
Submitting a referral is easy:
- Employee: Candidate applies using a Workday referral link (preferred method). To refer, locate open positions in Workday, select a position that looks like a good fit for someone they know, and select the “refer” button at the top of the screen. Employees must complete the referral form and include an email address for the referred individual to receive a link to apply. To receive an incentive payment (if eligible), the referral must apply using the personalized link.
- Candidate: Referral selects "Employee Referral" in the job application "How did you hear about us?" field and must enter a Boeing employee name or email address when applying.
- Subsidiary: Non-Workday-integrated subsidiary employees can make referrals in the Avature Portal system for specific recruitment campaigns. Currently, this is limited to open engineering positions at U.S. locations.
After a successful hire:
- The referred candidate is verified for eligibility.
- Referral incentives, less applicable taxes, will be paid in full to eligible employees within three months of the referred candidate’s start date.
